Discovery Church Preschool in Clayton, NC
Discovery Church Preschool is our half-day early childhood education program for two-, three- and four-year-olds. We offer a loving Christian environment where children can grow in their understanding of God’s love for them through Bible stories, music, games, and creative activities, while learning the academic and practical essentials that will prepare them for Kindergarten and beyond.
At Discovery Preschool, we believe that every child is a unique creation of God, and that the body, mind and spirit of each child should be nurtured. We seek to meet each child where he or she is emotionally, developmentally, spiritually, educationally and socially, and we apply these principles to each facet of our planning, instruction and activities. Children experience faith, fun and friendships under the guidance of teachers and staff who embrace and model the love and grace of God in Jesus Christ.
Teachers guide the children through a regular daily routine that includes self-directed and teacher-directed educational play and activities. Children encounter learning through a combination of circle time, seatwork, centers, games, story-time, memory work, structured play, art, music and movement, outdoor fun, classroom “jobs,” field trips, special events, and more.
Registration for 2012 - 2013
Registration will open to the public on Monday February 6th. We will also have an Open House on that date.
We will offer (1) 2 year old class, (2) 3 year old classes and (2) 4 year old classes. The birthday cut off is August 31 2012 for all classes. Registration and tuition for each class is listed below:
2 year old 2 day program Tuesday and Thursday 9am-12:30pm $50 Registration/Materials Fee/$100 Monthly Tuition
3 year old 3 day program
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am-12:30pm
$100 Registration/Materials Fee/$140 Monthly Tuition
4 year old 3 day program
Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday 9am-1pm
$100 Registration/Materials Fee/$145 Monthly Tuition
4 year old 4 day program
Monday-Thursday 9am-1pm
$120 Registration/Materials Fee/$180 Monthly Tuition
