Staff

	Pastor — Monte Johnston is the lead pastor. He is originally from Colorado Springs and went to school at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He went to seminary at Princeton Theological Seminary, but could never figure out why New Jersey is called the Garden State. As far as schooling goes, he also got his Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Despite his best efforts, no one will refer to him as the Very Right Reverend Doctor Johnston, maybe because most people just call him Monte. He has been at this church since 1995. He, his wife, and four kids all love Clayton.
	Pastor — Tom Westfall has served many churches over the years before his partial retirement in 2008. We couldn't let all of his great experience and wisdom go untapped, so Tom leads worship and preaches regularly. He has a real passion for missions and outreach.
	Family Ministry Director — Joye Douthart oversees the development of our ministries while we work toward our goal of building families in Christ. Previously, she served as our Children's Ministry Director and has worked in event planning and public relations. She graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh and received a Masters in English from North Carolina State University.
	Music Leader — Rainey Buscher is a really gifted musician. His love of music is only surpassed by his love for God, but his love for all manner of musical equipment is a very close third. You can get to know him a bit more on his website: http://www.raineybuscher.com/
	Preschool Director — Kimberley Strickland directs our flourishing preschool. Her love of kids was evident as she coached swim team and taught swim lessons for years. Kimberley is a graduate of North Carolina State University and enjoys running and training for marathons.
